As 2016 draws to a close, we at Eat This Much realized we learned a lot this year. The biggest source of this learning? YOU. The Eat This Much user!
We don’t want to brag or anything (ok, maybe just a little) but the people who use ETM are pretty smart. Between the data we see and the messages we get, most people who use ETM are seeing progress and they’re really excited about it. One element of this shared success we noticed was the simplicity of the recipes many users kept in their weekly rotation. That’s right – the recipes used most often in our Recurring Foods feature are ridiculously simple, easy to make and void of a ton of highly processed ingredients, especially sugars.
This supports the long held notion that keeping your diet simple and low maintenance can lead to lasting changes, especially when it’s built upon a foundation of easy-to-make, satisfying foods. That’s exactly why ETM was created in the first place – to make things simple and easy! We’re all big fans of variety, but having some consistent, easy to make foods makes it way easier to stick with your plan.
They may not be very sexy or culinarily exciting, but they work. Here are ten of the top ETM recipes of 2016.
Before you go, share your successes! Do you have staple recipes that keep you on track? What foods do you rely on to reach your diet goals? Tell us and your fellow ETM users so we can all benefit from your experiences.
